9.) Darts or Peanut butter? Definitely darts.

10.) Candy corn or steak?  Candy corn unless the steak comes in Fajita form.

11.) Starving or having to pee but can’t?  What kind of sadistic fool are you?

12.) The 80s or 90s? ooo...both very good things.  I'm a little scared to pick one.  90's.

Happy Feet Flip Flops

"No shirt, no shoes, no service"  We have all hard this phrase before.  But what does it mean?  I don't care.  In the true collegiate tradition I would like to define some terms.  1) Shirt-doesn't matter, 2) Shoes-An outer covering for the human foot, 3) Service-not important.

So shoes...Clothing for our feet...The single most fabulous accesory a person can ever have.  But does a shoe really have to cover one's whole foot?  What if your foot covers your shoe, but your shoes barely covers your foot?  Is it still a shoe?  I (and no doubt many of you) say YES! of course!  But Washington and our press would have you believe not.

The ever rad Marina has brought a very important issue to my attention.  A college student was recently caught wearing flip-flops during a meeting with President Bush at the White House.  So what???? It's not like the man is God.  And even if he were God I would like to remind everyone that it is quite probable that God did/does/ will wear flip-flops.  I mean Bush is a man whose self-proffessed favorite book is Hop on Pop, by Dr. Suess.  Clearly a man who can appreciate the little things in life.  So why is there no love for the flip-flops??? The problem here is that even though this is the 21st Century, there remains those who have yet to experience teh joy and freedom that flip-flops bring.

Since America is the land of the free, I purpose freedom for the feet.  Not just some feet, but for all feet.  This is what our forefathers fought for, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, and freedom of the feet.  Do not fear because I do not come with merely an exestential yet beautiful thought.  I bring a plan of action.  Sure we could send our President a pair of flip-flops and promise to vote him into a third term if he wears them, or we could all call our local congressmen and women asking them to do something about this very important problem.  But that wouldn't be very important now would it?  There is only one solution to this problem.  Only one thing could show Americans the true value of wearing flip-flops, and that is....

WE INTERUPT YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED ARTICLE TO BRING YOU THIS LATE BRAKING NEWS...

The department of homeland security has just raised the terror alert level to Red-Very High.  Soldiers have uncovered numereous tennis shoe and boot making factories throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.  It is apparent that the these factories are jointly owned by the infamous Sadaam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden.  All profits from these factories is believed to be used to support the devlopment of weapons of mass destruction.  We urge you to support your country during this time by wearing American made flip-flops.  Stand tall and trumphiant in the war against terror.  Stand in your flip-flops.

Proud to be and American,

Jen

"I'M SUPERMAN..... I'M BATMAN....I'M JESUS" -Grant & Cole, while spinning on a chair

So I went to the fair today and hung out with my mom, it was pretty cool.  My mom has been surprisingly cool since Nikki left, but I think thats because I haven't really tried to leave her for any amount of time, haha.  I feel like I am finally at home for good, the past two weeks I have been back and forth from school and home, which has created a mess out my emotional re-adjustment to America, and my house.  I still have my suitcases from Turkey to unpack, not to mention a different bag from each of my trips down to cbu, and the boxes I brought home.  I really need to get things organized.  On the upside, my dad is going to help me turn my bedroom into a Tiki Hut!  I've always wanted a Tiki Hut!  Woo-Hoo!  I even found Bright Green and Hot Pink paint, and not just any paint, Tommy Hilfiger paint, thats right suckas, I got designer paint.  I didn't even know he made paint, its kind of a odd combination, paint and clothes????  I guess whatever sinks his ship, wait that was a bad one, whatever brushes his hair, I think that ones new.  Now for the downside, I need a job BAD, my cash flow is getting kinda tight, please pray for me.

"ZEBRAS DON'T MAKE NOISE, THEY SAY NEIGH" -Jenni

I have decided, I don't really like graduations.  Therefore I purpose a difference.  What if we change the name of California Baptist University to California Baptist Learning Forever Club.  It then becomes free, because clubs are free, and we all just live there and learn cool stuff, for a long time.  Like until I decide I don't want it to be a club anymore at which point it will return to its former status and we can all graduate together :)

"I NEVER THOUGHT I'D LISTEN TO AND OR ENJOY ACCORDIAN MUSIC. BUT THEN AGAIN, I NEVER THOUGHT AN ACCORDIAN PLAYER WOULD JUMP OUT OF MY BUSHES EITHER." -Brendan Leonard

Yay tonight me and my roomies and our friend bubblegum had a Turkish dinner party!  It was mad fun. I made Mercimek Corba and Kasarli Pide and Chocolate Gozleme.  Tasted like being in Turkey with my best friends.  We listened to Turkish music, danced...did some other Turkish stuff.  It was a rad night.  Turkey is cool and my friends are awesome!!!
